Game, Set, Match!
We don’t have much longer to wait until Wimbledon is on our screens once again! Anybody heading over to the courts this year to watch a match or two?
If you’re staying put this summer and watching the matches from the comfort of your deck chair, then help is at hand to make your Summer one to remember! So grab the Pimms, sugar those strawberries and get out the suncream, ’cause we’re having a Party!
Sadly our Summer here in Great Britain is extremely unpredictable. What with the torrential downpours and scorching heat waves every other day. BUT on those nice days we DO get – make the most of it with a Great British Garden Party! Wimbledon is the perfect excuse for getting together, keeping an eye on the courts, and all importantly enjoying some Pimms. For something a little different, mix it up a little with this fun and fruity recipe!
Don’t forget the nibbles! Serve up some Quintessentially British party food, from Crisp Cucumber Sandwiches to Scampi and Chips in a basket! Or if you’re feeling really brave, fire up that BBQ and sizzle some sausages.
You could set up a ‘BBQ bar’, with all your guests favourite condiments and toppings to go in their hot dog bun. Of course if you’re throwing a Wimbledon party, be sure to serve up plenty of Strawberries for afters. Serve Simply with whipped cream, or try out one of these delicious dishes.
Make sure your garden is Wimbledon ready, with our massive range of decorations. Mix and Match with our Plain colours and Patterns for a unique theme, just for you. And Cheer on Mr.Murray with our British hand held flags.
If the sun HAS come out to play for your bash, then keep your guests nice and cool, with paper plate fans and a sun cream station. Create a shady area for those who want to cool off, using umbrellas, or putting up a gazebo. For those sun seekers, make sure there is plenty of water to hand and sit back and enjoy this rare moment of vitamin D!
